Learn-to-Learn Workshop
Monday and Tuesday, May 19-20, 2008
Special Intensive Two-Day Workshop
preceding the 16th Annual Double Festival
in Pasadena, Maryland
with Tijl Koenderink
In this training you will learn an integrated model of learning, its steps and the surrounding conditions to make it succeed. Combined with that, you will learn to use some of the most powerful Accelerated Learning techniques, and understand how and why they work. Following on this, you will receive an introduction into how to apply this knowledge in your teaching.
At the end of the training you will know how to:
- memorize texts/images/names/numbers
- read at high(er) speeds
- learn and teach using different parts of the brain,
- learn and teach using different learning styles
- learn and teach using different 'forms of intelligence'
At the end of the training you will know:
- what learning is
- what its steps are
- what the 'ground-rules' of the brain are, and their effect on learning
- how to apply this knowledge to effective learning and teaching
After this introductory workshop, you will leave with more than enough information to be able to practice on your own, or to contact the trainer where needed. And you will be well prepared to get the most out of all the Double Festival sessions by applying your new-found skills.
