different technologies and methodologies which

bear considerable potential for becoming useful

therapies and above-the-norm enrichments.

Breath: we breathe the way we feel, and

            we feel the way we breathe.

Use that phenomenon to recondition stimuli,

clarify perceptions, and much else.

 

Energy: All life generates it and runs on it.

Learn to use life energy in its palpable form,

to redirect what needs redirecting, and to

release what needs releasing.

 

Together with imagery as metaphor,

these make wonderful combinations for

clarification and releasing, after which -

a half-billion years of evolution has made

the system very good at healing itself.

form was held February 28-28 weekend,
2010, which the participants consider to be
an unqualified success.  We are planning

for early November 2010.

Many very different forms of therapy unknowingly

share essentially the same model of human

development, and how to enrich or repair that

development.  Each appears to believe its own

model is novel and unique.

 

Exploring the universalities among these diverse

fragmentary approaches to therapy, may well

lead to stronger practices and stronger theory,

as well as clearing some ways to find yet more

powerful synergies between their differences.

 

As an example of this last, a fundamental

concept which has apparently been left out of

most such therapy programs, when examined

in this context points toward a grand unification

of all therapy disciplines with all behavioral

fields and specialties, with enormous potential

consequences for human well-being.

    REBUILDING THE FOUNDATIONS

    OF UNDERSTANDING

 

We pick up where Jean Piaget and Jerome

Bruner left off, applying the unified model -

common to most therapies - to rebuilding the

very foundations of understanding and of the

ability TO understand.  Both a cognitive path

of experience and a neurophysiological path

of experience, as means to improve powers

of understanding, will be explored "hands-on."

    IN THERAPEUTIC, DEVELOPMENTAL, AND

    EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES.

 

We will explore four to six different, powerful but

little-known programs and methods for improving

such outcomes and human well-being.  Some,

aimed directly at brain-building in one or another

form, were little known because of unscientific

ideologies prevailing among professionals before

the current tsunami of well-done scientific studies

in brain plasticity made topics of that nature "o.k.

to look at."

 

Physical approaches such as ways to improve

circulation to the physical brain. Neurological and

allergy factors bearing upon how well we work our

eyes together, reflexive eye-movement being a

key component of how we internally access

information.  Simple and often obvious methods

for unblocking "blocked" areas of performance

and learning.  These and other fundamental,

essential factors bearing upon the human

condition, are among the methodologies we

explore in this concentrated experience.

Because there are so many validities to be

found among so many so very different programs

bearing upon human treatment and well-being:  a

search for more among these is likely to discover

more, with positive consequences for the human

come together in a multi-disciplinary colloquium

whose procedures are structured to discover

points of agreement and complementarities
